A Message from Mayor Michaels:

“The health and safety of our community will remain our top priority. It’s been clear from the onset that our residents, businesses and visitors are committed to one another to work together to tackle any obstacles COVID-19 puts in front of us.

Let’s continue that trend of commitment now as we learn of new cases in our county and neighboring counties. Let’s continue to be proactive and get ahead of this fall spike by remembering the most important steps:

  • wearing masks

  • Social distancing

  • sanitizing hands, surfaces and other common areas

  • keeping crowds to a minimum ( following state guidelines)

  • staying informed of state guidelines as they become available

We can be proactive. We will successfully navigate these times once again.

Below are some steps that the city is taking to lead this charge. In addition to this list we are contacting businesses to provide support and guidance and working with the county to stay informed and ready.

I’m proud of our city. Let’s stay strong as we always do. We will get through this next phase of COVID as we have shown in the past we can.
