About

 

  • Fully staffed 24/7 career department utilizing 4 shifts made up with 1 Captain, 1 Lieutenant, 7 Firefighters per shift.

  • Apparatus- 2 engines- 2 rescues, 1 tower ladder,1 inflatable boat, 2 rescue boats responding out of two strategically placed stations.

  • Responsible for emergency mitigations related to fire, rescue, ems and hazmat incidents.

  • Responsible for fire related codes in commercial occupancies. (Building Safety Inspections)

  • Work hand in hand with community partners ensuring the safety of the residents through community risk reduction and fire prevention programs.

Programs available to the public include:

  1. C.P.R./AED certification through American heart

  2. Courtesy fire safety inspection of a commercial or private dwelling

  3. Provide and install smoke detectors to owner occupied residents who are in need

  4. Juvenile fire setters program

  5. Fire prevention to school and education facilities

  6. Fire prevention to Elderly and Disabled facilities

  7. Recreational Fire Permits
